Critical Reading in Popular Culture and Media/Urban/Tourism Spaces

I view various cultural phenomena that have been related to modernization, globalization, post-colonial, and post-modernism as a space in which the perspectives, desires, and strategies of nations, capital, and people work in a complex way.
In the seminar on popular culture studies, students will learn about the history, characteristics, and methodology of popular culture research. In particular, we think of the dynamism of popular culture, in which contemporary cultural, industrial, and social senses compete with each other nationally, locally, and globally.
In the seminar on media space studies, students learn about the relationship between media and urban/tourism spaces, as well as the mechanisms of their interaction, and then think about the ways in which the space is restructured, power is transferred, and daily life is expanded.
