(1) Extended Enrollment System

The extended enrollment system allows students to extend their course of study a certain period of time beyond the standard term, due to circumstances such as outside employment.

(2) Period of Study and Maximum Length of Enrollment for Long-Term Students

Master's program: Period of Study 3 or 4 Years (Maximum period of 6 years including a two-year retention)
Doctoral program: Period of 4, 5, or 6 Years (Maximum length of enrollment 6 years)

(3) Those Eligible for Extended Enrollment

1. Those who are employed by government offices, companies, etc. (excluding those who receive salaries but are exempt from duties), or those who are engaged in full-time jobs such as running businesses .
2. Those who have part time jobs, etc., which are recognized by our school as having a significant impact on studies.
3. Those who have burdens similar to the above two items, such as childcare, caring for relatives, etc, which are recognized by our school as having a significant impact on studies.
4. Those who have visual impairment, hearing impairment, physical disability, or other disabilities, which are recognized by our school as having a significant impact on studies.

(4) Extended Enrollment Period

Extended enrollment is allowed in one-year increments.

(5) Tuition

Annual tuition for extended enrollment is, in principle, the amount of two years' tuition (standard period) for the master's program or three years' tuition (standard period) for the doctoral program, divided by the length of long-term registration.
