We have two years' master's and three years' doctoral programs. Students in our master's program are expected to become capable of conducting their own research projects and pursuing their career goals by gaining academic knowledge in their own field. Students in our doctoral program are expected to become independent scholars or capable of pursuing their career goals as professionals with highly specialized skills and knowledge in their own discipline.
The Master's Program
Number of Students to be Admitted

The Graduate School of IMCTS has one major and two courses.
Major: International Media, Communication, and Tourism Studies

Period of Study
The period of study for completing our master's program is two years. Eligible applicants who are successfully approved of their long-term enrollment status may spend up to two more years to complete the program.
Degree Requirements
To obtain a master's degree, the student should have enrolled in our master's program for a minimum of two years, earn at least 34 credits, complete his/her master's thesis (or specific subject thesis) under his/her supervisor's research guidance, and pass the final thesis examination. Those students who are distinguished may receive his/her master's degree a year after he/she enrolled in the program.
Master's Degree to be Earned
Those who successfully completed the master's program earn either one of the following degrees:
Master in the field of International Media and Communication
Master in the field of Tourism Studies
Master in the field of International Media, Communication, and Tourism Studies
Career after Graduation
The alumni of our master's program have careers in media, tourism, information technology, finance, public service, and other fields.
The Doctoral Program

Those students who are distinguished may receive his/her doctoral degree a year after he/she enrolled in the program.
Doctoral Degree to be Earned
Those who successfully completed the doctoral program earn either one of the following degrees:
Doctor of Philosophy in the field of International Media and Communication
Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Tourism Studies
Doctor of Philosophy in the field of International Media, Communication, and Tourism Studies
Career after Graduation
The alumni of our doctoral program have careers in institutions of higher education, research institutes, governmental organizations, and other organizations.
