Our graduate school values practical learning, and so we actively promote working adult students enrolling in the university. We encourage our students to learn from each other's diverse strengths, including current students, international students, and students with real work experience. At IMCTS, we have undertaken to create a system that provides a comfortable environment for working adult students.

Working adult students who have passed the Working Adult Entrance Examination and have been admitted to the master's program are eligible to consult with their class instructor with requests for evening or Saturday classes. Evening classes are offered from 18:15 to 19:45, allowing working people to take classes after work. However, please be aware that circumstances may prevent some classes be offered in the evening.

In addition, working adult students in the doctoral degree program who are preparing their doctoral dissertations while working in distant locations such as Tokyo can often receive on-site guidance. The availability of guidance depends on the research topic, etc., so please consult with your academic advisor with your guidance request.

There are also several other research support systems to support working adult students, such as the Extended Enrollment system. Please contact your supervisor or Academic affairs section, Graduate School of International Media, Communication, and Tourism Studies (IMCTS) with any questions or concerns.
