A Message from the Counselor

The Counseling Room is here to help you sort out whatever problems you encounter and find solutions to them by listening to you whenever you encounter trouble in student life. I imagine a lot of you have thought "I'd like to visit the counseling room, but it's kind of embarrassing..." or "I'm not sure what to talk about."

You can come to us with any problem at all, whether it's with academics, your career path, interpersonal, or even physical or mental illness. Come and talk over whatever is bothering you. Talking things through at your own pace can help you sort out problems, and thinking them through with someone else can help you find new ways of looking at things and new directions.

The 6th floor counseling room is in a quiet place with a good view, making it accessible and easy to enter for anyone.

We want everyone to have a more fulfilling student life, so we hope you'll come visit us.

Counselor (Clinical Psychologist) Abe Kumiko
