2011年4月4日A Message from IMCTS regarding the recent Japan earthquake

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to those many people who suffered due to the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. We hope that the recovery is swift, and life can resume to normal as soon as possible.

From staff and students at the Hokkaido University Graduate School of International Media, Communications and Tourism.

To all international students,

Those prospective international students considering enrolling in IMCTS, we appreciate that you may be concerned about the effects of the recent earthquake and tsunami. Please be assured, however, that Sapporo was not affected by what happened in Tohoku. All planned classes and academic activates starting on the 1st of April this year are on schedule and are unaffected in any way. Below is a message from the Sapporo Municipal Government.

"As of the 1st of April, there have been no human or property damage reports in connection with events surrounding the 2011/3/11 Tohoku Earthquake."
